- "Whitehills Through
the Years". This is a brand new publication by Stanley Bruce of the Banffshire Maritime & Heritage Association. it
is an illustrated history including Whitehills, Boyndie, Boyne & Ladysbridge. On sale locally at £6 per copy.
- YOUNGSTERS AGED BETWEEN 5 & 12 YEARS. If you are interested
in trips & taking part in workshops as part of a new youth group in Whitehills please contact Adrianne Forsyth. Adrianne
is at the Boyndie Visitor Centre on 01261 843249 or mobile 07908 813 415. The Community Council is happy to consider funding
activities if enough young people want to do them. Ideas on what these activities would be are welcome. Parents or volunteers
are welcome to help run the group.
- New steel galvanised
planter boxes have been filled & placed around the village. These should give value for money & last many
years.
- Whitehills community public toilet on Loch
Street has been upgraded . The toilet flush system, wash basins & cubicle doors have been replaced & a baby changing
unit installed.
- RAF Banff Strike Wing DVD is

- A trust has been created with the aim of developing the future management of the former
RAF Banff. The Trust includes Whitehills
Community Council.
- Whitehills
Community Council has produced a visitor information leaflet of our lovely area.
- Viewpoint & walk
from Boyndie Visitors Centre to the windfarm is proving very popular.
- Charles Findlay has
retreived the names of the War Dead on the damaged Boyndie Kirk War Memorial Plaque. He is instrumental, with the assistance
of the local community council, in having the names of the dead personnel reinstated on two memorial stones at Whitehills
cemetery, later this year.
- New
galvanised gates are to be fitted at Whitehills cemetery & two replacement seats have been sited outside the gates.
